Commissioning a painting is straight forward and simple process. Once size and subject matter is determined a standard contract is drawn up and arrangements are made for a photo session. I insist on working from my own photographs with few exceptions. I am happy to travel to a location of your convenience for a photo shoot of the subject matter. Photo sessions can take place at a location of your convenience or in my studio. Once the painting is complete and has had sufficient drying time (a couple of weeks) the painting is varnished for protection and shipped to your location.

Prices are based on on the size of the canvas regardless of the subject matter. My personal philosophy about painting is that every inch of the canvas should be painted with the same level of skill and care. The size of your canvas will depend on the subject.
